The unique combination of superb facilities, highly motivated students, a rich musical environment, and the Colorado Rocky Mountains makes this Chamber Music of the Rockies a memorable and rewarding experience. The Vilar Performing Arts Center and other resort facilities provide a pleasant chamber music setting. Chamber Music of the Rockies meets concurrently with the Colorado Suzuki Institute and shares some common faculty.
Chamber Music of the Rockies festival is sponsored by Colorado Institute of Music, Inc. a 501c3 tax exempt organization, and hosted by Beaver Creek Resort Company.

Prepare an audition video recording representing your level of proficiency in solo repertoire. Post your video audition to YouTube and include the link on your registration application. Directions for posting YouTube auditions
Recordings must be received by March 15 in order to be considered. Include two contrasting movements or pieces.
Fill out and submit the Chamber Music of the Rockies Young Artist REGISTRATION FORM. Your teacher’s name and email address MUST be included in order for the application to be considered.
After you have submitted the application to us, we will email to you an invoice. You may pay the tuition invoice online securely using Visa or MasterCard.
Your private teacher will need to complete the recommendation form (which will be emailed directly to them) in order for your application to be considered complete.
Upon receipt of your fees, we email to you confirmation of your application and payment.
If you are staying in the teen lodge housing, we make that lodging reservation for you.
All teen lodge fees are due in full by April 5, 2015 or your teen lodge reservation will be cancelled.
If you are not staying in the teen lodge, you will need your musical confirmation number from the paid in full invoice to make your lodging reservations at the discounted rates on our website.
Enrollment is limited and competitive. You will be notified of your selection status no later than April, 2015.
If you are not accepted into the program, your entire amount will be refunded.
If you are accepted and choose to cancel your registration, notify Chamber Music of the Rockies in writing.
- Prior to April 5, a full refund, less a $100 administrative service fee, will be given.
- Due to commitments to faculty and travel plans, after April 5 there are no refunds.
