The Colorado Suzuki Institute and Chamber Music of the Rockies are located at Beaver Creek Resort in central Colorado, 90 minutes west of Denver, 30 miles east of the Vail/Eagle Airport, and easily accessible via scenic, direct and popular I-70. The Vilar Center for the Arts and other centralized facilities provide an outstanding Institute setting.
Beaver Creek, elevation 8,100 feet, is located 15 minutes west of Vail, Colorado. Days in early June frequently reach 75-80 degrees, and nights in the Colorado Rocky Mountains can be chilly.
Beaver Creek is friendly to walkers with escalators and elevators to improve accessibility. A shuttle bus service is available between the various Institute lodging and classroom facilities. All shuttle buses are lift equipped and select lodging is handicapped accessible. Please indicate on registration forms (and to lodging reservationists) if handicapped accessibility is necessary so that classroom scheduling can be accommodated.
